A new alliance to jointly help improve the quality of life of people with disabilities in more than 40 countries.
At Ayúdame3D we work to deliver our support to people with disabilities around the world. To achieve this goal and have a greater impact we are aligned with SDG 17 "Partnerships to meet the goals". By collaborating with NGOs and solidarity organizations, such as Cooperating Volunteers, we are able to reach people who did not know they could be helped.
The organization announced the collaboration with Ayúdame3D last Friday, January 24, during the celebration of its anniversary. For several months we have been working together on a very special mission: to find, through its volunteers, people with disabilities who need our help in different corners of the world and give them our Trésdesis, 3D printed arm prostheses.
Cooperating Volunteers has been promoting community development through international volunteer experiences for fifteen years. Serving as a bridge for volunteers seeking to transform lives, they support educational, medical, environmental, childcare and other projects, creating a positive impact in vulnerable communities in more than 40 countries.
The collaboration between Ayúdame3D and Cooperating Volunteers has a clear objective: to help, taking advantage of the network of volunteers in the field to identify people who may need our Trésdesis. From Ayúdame3D we have developed materials specially designed to facilitate the process of contact and taking measurements. In this way, our Development and Innovation of Technical Aids team will be able to work quickly and easily in the creation of customized prostheses, which will be delivered by the same volunteers of Cooperating Volunteers.

At the end of the year we were able to deliver the first two Trésdesis, one Vicky in Tanzania and one Mery in Kenya. Thanks to the volunteers we were able to meet the two children and deliver their prostheses. From Ayúdame3D we are sure that this is just the beginning of something much bigger.
Collaboration is fundamental to help and thanks to the commitment of Cooperating Volunteers and the work of our team, we will continue to improve the quality of life of people around the world, offering new opportunities for employability and schooling. Together we will continue to transform realities, because for us, helping is too easy not to!
