Creating alliances with entities and collaborating with them is essential so that our aid can reach people all over the world.
At Ayúdame3D we believe that collaboration is essential to help more and more people. Therefore, we work in line with SDG 17 "Partnerships to meet the goals", cooperating with different entities and organizations to meet the SDGs and make the world a better place. This week we have delivered two trésdesis to two people helped by HOGAR SÍ, a foundation with which we have recently started to collaborate.
HOGAR SÍ is an organization that has been working for 25 years to ensure that no one lives on the street, defending the right to housing, the right to health and the right to employment. They believe in the collective responsibility to generate solutions to homelessness and, therefore, work to address this problem from the whole of society. A few months ago the HOGAR SÍ team contacted us to ask for two trésdesis for Pavel and Fatima, which we delivered this Tuesday in our office.
Pavel, suffered a forearm amputation two years ago, for him we have manufactured a Mery with the new Consolation type forearm that we have developed. This customized forearm allows the trésdesis to better fit the person's arm when the length of his forearm is less than 12 cm. When he tried it on, he immediately tried to pick up small objects within reach and expressed his appreciation. In the coming months we will continue the process with him so that the trésdesis will be 100% adapted to him and will help him in his daily life.
Fatima, who has congenital agenesis, received a Vicky trésdesis , made by one of our Helpers3D. As she tried it out, she gained confidence. We are sure that this trésdesis will help her in specific activities. She was also very grateful for the help.
In addition, during the delivery we were accompanied by several Occupational Therapy students who had been working with Pavel and Fatima and had followed closely the contact with Ayúdame3D.
Collaboration is essential to achieve shared goals that focus on people and the creation of a better world. As Stephanie, in charge of Logistics and Development at Ayúdame3D, comments, "it is always great to collaborate with other entities because at the end of the day we help each other to continue helping". We hope to be able to continue strengthening the alliance with HOGAR SÍ and thus help all homeless people who need our help.
