The innovative candy throwing device they created thrilled both the participating children and the public who received the candy.
Their Majesties the Three Wise Men from the East began their visit to the capital of Madrid on Saturday afternoon, the 4th, in the Ciudad Lineal District. From five in the afternoon, attendees were able to enjoy a unique parade, which highlighted the original way that the NGO Ayúdame3D to hand out candy from its float.
The Spanish organization, which designs and delivers prostheses free of charge to people all over the world, paraded through the streets of the area with a superhero-themed truck, which had been decorated by the afternoon's protagonists. More than 20 children from the Association of Families of Children with Prostheses (AFANIP) and the National Association of Amputees (ANDADE) painted the silhouette of their hands and stumps before starting the parade to make it clear that "our differences make us equal", the slogan that surrounded the float.

During the tour, the little ones lived a unique experience, giving smiles and handing out candy thanks to Ayúdame3D. The team designed for the occasion a unique bracelet to facilitate the throwing of candy to the little ones. This design is part of a project of prostheses and accessories to play, an initiative that seeks to break down barriers and raise awareness that the reality of people with different limbs is as natural as any other.

"We are very happy to be able to give visibility to children with different limbs to spread the word that all people are equal," explains Guillermo Gauna-Vivas, general director of Ayúdame3D. The organization wants to remind that it is not only on these dates, but throughout the year, that we have to accept people as they are and that all children deserve a dignified and happy childhood, without having to live experiences of pressure, bullying or inequalities.
Hundreds of people enjoyed the ride in Distrito Lineal and, thanks to the message of Ayúdame3D and the children who accompanied them, they were reminded that inclusion is key to making the world a better place, and that only with commitment and embracing diversity can barriers be broken down.
