Ayúdame3D awarded best social and healthcare institution by FENIN at the 10th edition of the Voluntades Awards.
Ayúdame3D has been recognised in the category "Social and Healthcare Institution" for the research, manufacture and delivery of trésdesis, 3D printed arms, for people all over the world.
Since 2012, Fenin has recognised more than 50 projects and initiatives of entities committed to their environment with these awards.
Ayúdame3D has been recognised this year at the 10th edition of the Voluntades RSE 2021 AwardsThe award is given by Fenin to recognise the effort, work and positive impact of companies and institutions in the health technology sector in the development of social responsibility policies aimed at improving the health, quality of life and well-being of the population.
Specifically, the award, presented yesterday, recognises Ayúdame 3D as the best social and health institution for the initiative Trésdesis, 3D printed arms, which are distributed free of charge to people with disabilities, improving their quality of life and providing better opportunities for employability and schooling. Ayúdame3D already has extensive experience creating and providing these aids to vulnerable people all over the world, who with them can once again carry out activities that they were previously unable to do: simple things, for example, such as picking up a glass or working on the land.
The whole Ayúdame3D team works looking for synergies, which gives the projects a multidisciplinary vision during their design, implementation and evaluation. This way of working offers better results and means that the aid can reach more people every day in the best possible way.
In the words of Guillermo M. Gauna-Vivas, director general of the NGO, "it is a source of pride to see the work of Ayúdame3D recognised by an institution as renowned as Fenin. In the end, it is important to stress that we are no longer talking about the project that I started one day in my bedroom. Ayúdame3D is a solid, well-established institution with a great team behind it that manages to bring help to more and more corners of the world every day".
Ayúdame3D is an organization that promotes the social values of new technologies by creating awareness programs and providing aid through 3D printing. It has educational programs that seek to promote creative-resolutionary intelligence among young people, in addition to carrying out social awareness work. It also carries out CSR actions with companies to create a more ethical and supportive business environment, and has a platform of volunteers who are experts in 3D printing. All this in order to be able to distribute aid globally: trésdesis (3D printed arms for amputees around the world).
