Forbes names Guillermo M. Gauna-Vivas as a 2022 game-changer

Guillermo M. Gauna-Vivas has been recognised by Forbes as one of the people who will change 2022. This recognition is due to his work as CEO of Ayúdame3D, a Spanish organisation that uses 3D printing technology to manufacture assistive devices for people with disabilities and vulnerable groups. 

Since he went to Kenya in 2017 with 5 trésdesis in his suitcase, the number of people helped has grown exponentially. 5 years later, Ayúdame3D is a solid social entity that is already present in more than 50 countries. Through technological and social awareness programmes in companies and educational centres, the NGO finances the development, manufacture and delivery of 3D printed assistive devices. The delivery of trésdesis, 3D printed prosthetic arms, is the core business of the organisation, which already ships around 300 devices per year. 

Guillermo designed the first 3D printed arm for people without an elbow, now known as the Vicky trésdesis, a completely innovative device that has given many people a second chance. 

Technology, innovation and social impact are the pillars on which Guillermo bases his work. "It is very important to keep in mind that technology is a tool that can change lives. For me, it is fundamental to know that my work is helping someone to have better opportunities and thanks to the work we do at Ayúdame3D I know that this is the case", says Guillermo.

The 27-year-old has received numerous awards for his work and dedication and has appeared on two other Forbes lists: "The other 100 biggest fortunes". y "The 100 most creative Spaniards in business".
