Thanks to the collaboration of people and international entities, we have delivered the first trésdesis to people affected by the war in Ukraine.

At Ayúdame3D we work aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals established by the 2030 Agenda, especially with SDG 17: Partnerships to achieve the goals. We believe that collaboration between entities is essential to generate a greater impact and be able to help more people. That is why, since our inception, we have created links with international organizations that have allowed us to reach people who did not know they could be helped. Today we tell you how we have worked to bring our trésdesis to Ukraine.

Last year we participated in the annual 3D Printer Partyan event dedicated to 3D printing and the maker community, proposing a solidarity challenge to collect mini Helpis (the solidarity mascot of Ayúdame3D) that would help the creation of trésdesis for victims of the war in Ukraine. Thanks to the solidarity of the participants in the event we were able to collect more than 4,000 mini Helpis, which during this time have been delivered directly to charity markets in schools and CSR actions in organizations and companies, becoming humanitarian aid.

These Helpis transformed into trésdesis are delivered thanks to the collaboration with international entities. After several months of trying to contact organizations to collaborate with on the ground in the Ukraine, we met with Hands with Hearta foundation whose mission is to provide free health care to children and adults with disabilities, who have limited or no access to health care. We met Jorge, its founder, at an event earlier this year and immediately started looking for ways to collaborate.

A few months ago Jorge was in Ukraine to take the measurements of Viktor and Ceprin, two Ukrainians affected by the conflict. Since we received the information, our team has been working on the design and manufacture of three trésdesis, two Mery type and one Vicky type, which were shipped and have already arrived at their destination.

Jorge, from Hands with Heart, has been in charge of delivering this aid in Ukraine and supporting Viktor and Ceprin during the first contact with these devices, to show them how they can use them and how they will help them in their daily lives.

Thanks to the help of the people who participated in the 3D Printer Party 2022 solidarity challenge this year we decided to bring another solidarity challenge. In addition, in line with SDG 17 we continue contacting and working with international entities to create new alliances. In this way we will ensure that these Helpis created by makers will become humanitarian aid not only for Ukraine, but will reach different countries, improving the quality of life of hundreds of people and offering them new opportunities.
