Ayúdame3D is one of the NGOs in the health cause of Hit4Changean initiative of Brooklyn Fitboxing, which will contribute to the further use of 3D printing technology to improve the lives of people with disabilities.
Brooklyn Fitboxing is a chain of gyms that works with a very special system. Its users train daily generating 'karma' and from its foundation, Hit4Change, they collect this energy and transform it into help for their four causes: health, tree planting, oceans without plastic and help for underprivileged children.
Ayúdame3D is one of the NGOs within the health cause and will receive this 'karma' to create more trésdesis and send them to more people around the world. Thanks to the 'karma' donated to the health cause, we are developing new assistive devices that will change the daily lives of people with disabilities and provide them with a better quality of life.
Last Saturday, June 4, the Fitboxing World Games (FWG) took place at the Caja Mágica in Madrid, a championship that brought together more than 40,000 people. Ayúdame3D was one of the NGOs invited by Brooklyn Fitboxing to present its work at the stands of the event. There we were able to show our work and have a space to tell live how our trésdesis travel around the world to help people in need.
In addition, for the occasion we made some very cool solidarity keychains with the FWG logo. Each participant was able to receive this keychain that, besides being a souvenir of a special day, shows the importance of using technology to help, since it is made with the same printers with which we change lives.
