The Chemobox project offers children in hospitals personalized boxes with their favorite characters covering the chemotherapy bag.

In the last few years we have heard a lot the phrase "social networks are very powerful" and in Ayúdame3D we have discovered the positive side of this power on several occasions, as happened with our Chemobox. This project was born in 2018 when a father asked for a Batman box for his son Ivan, who was receiving chemotherapy treatment in the hospital. From Ayúdame3D, as other makers did, we started designing and printing without thinking about it. We liked the result so much that since then we have not stopped printing these boxes for any family that needs them.

Chemobox are serum-holding boxes, which cover the chemotherapy bag for infants and children in hospitals. These boxes, manufactured on the same printers where our trésdesis are born, are fully customized with cheerful colors or the characters of the favorite movies or animated series of the child who receives it. The aim of this project is to bring a little color in hard times and to offer a place for children to put their superpowers. In addition, once the treatment is finished, the box can be used to store toys, drawings or anything else you want.

The way to request a Chemobox is very simple, you only need to send an email to soporte@ayudame3d.org indicating the color or the tastes of the boy or girl who will receive it and we take care of the rest. We always work to make each design something very special, to create each piece and each figure with all the love in the world and to ensure that the boxes are really a shot of color and superpowers to send to the kids.

In recent months, aligned with SDG 17 "partnerships to meet the goals " and thanks to collaborating and supportive entities and companies, such as Vivienda2 and Calle 365, we have been able to send two large shipments of Chemobox to Ibiza and Mexico. Numerous Chemobox have been sent to different hospitals that are already filling the rooms of the children who have received them with light.

For us, it is essential to work using technology with empathy and to always put people at the center of innovation. We also use sustainable materials and 3D printing to create social impact. In this way we put plastic to positive use and continue to use technology to demonstrate that it is too easy not to help.
