Ayúdame3D received yesterday the "Digital lead" award at the 5th edition of the 'Digital Talent' awards organised by Accenture and 'elEconomista' in collaboration with the Human Resources Observatory.

The Digital Talent Awards aim to identify, evaluate and recognise the most relevant initiatives in the field of people that are contributing to the digital transformation of organisations.

Ayúdame3D has been recognised with the "Digital Lead" award for its project created in Spain that offers trésdesis, 3D printed arms to people without resources anywhere in the world.

Arancha Martínez, founder of itwillbe.org, was responsible for presenting the award, which was collected on this occasion by Laura Martín Torruella, co-founder and Communication Officer of Ayúdame3D.

The "Digital lead" award recognises the work of people and entities considered as "digital eith an inclusive social objective". Entities that make everyone part of the digital transformation. In this sense, Ayúdame3D works to disseminate the social value of technology in different fields as well as to empower territories with the creation of the first international 3D classrooms.

"At Ayúdame3D we believe that one of the fundamental aspects of technology is precisely the social value we can give it. Our aim is to change people's lives thanks to technology", said Laura Martín when she received the award. "We promote the social value of technology through our CSR programmes in companies and our Helping programme in schools. We also work to empower territories through technology by creating 3D classrooms in different countries around the world.

In the last year, Help Me3D created the Rift Valley's first 3D printing social lab. The Kenyan technology classroom, in the Bamba orphanage , is run by local students trained in 3D printing who design and manufacture aids for people in their community. This creates a fully independent aid network in the country.
